Movie on the Lawn - Save the dates! Summer movies are back. Join us on the lawn to watch a movie on the following dates. Bring a chair and a drink, popcorn is provided. Movies start at sundown. Follow us on Facebook to keep up to date. Friday August 21: The Incredibles
Pine Spring Camp - Another summer at Pine Springs Camp is underway. We have adopted summer staffer Heather Smarick. She is a student at the University of Michigan who is serving as a counselor this summer. We will be praying for Heather and the ministry of Pine Springs Camp throughout the summer.
Summer Mission Project - During July and August, the Women’s Circles are collecting school supplies including pencils, pens, crayons, glue & glue sticks, spiral notebooks, 3 ring binders, and filler paper. Donation bins are located at both entrances to the sanctuary and at the office.
End of Summer Splash Bash - We'd like to invite you to one last family summer get together Friday, August 21st starting at 6 p.m. Light snacks will be provided. Feel free to pack a picnic dinner if you'd like.
We're going all out and having some water fun and other outdoor lawn games starting at 6 p.m. We will then do our final movie on the lawn. We'll be watching The Incredibles. Bring a lawn chair or blanket (and towel to dry off from water fun.) Come for both water fun and the movie or just one or the other.
Middle and high school kids are then invited to stay for a lock-in. You must preregister by responding to this email and sign-up with KidCheck if your teen wants to join the lock-in to ensure we have adequate adult coverage. We thought it would be a fun way for the youth group kids to bond before Kingdom Kid starts in September!
Picnic Sunday - Sunday, August 30, 2026 – 10:00a.m. Worship on the Church Lawn (Followed by our Church Picnic)
Please join us for our annual church picnic. We will be meeting on the front lawn of the
church at 10:00a.m. for our outdoor worship service. Our potluck picnic will immediately
follow the service.
Please bring your favorite salad, side dish, or dessert to share. The grilled hot dogs,
refreshments, and ice cream treats will be provided by the Deacons. The McFeely’s ice cream
truck from Irwin will be coming to visit us and bring delicious frozen treats for everyone.
Bring a friend, neighbor, or some family with you to share in the fellowship of Picnic
Sunday. We’ll have some lawn games for the adults and some children’s activities set up if
you’d like to invite a family in your neighborhood. We will also be having our Blessing of the
Backpacks during the service to help get the kids ready for the start of school.
If you’d like to help the Deacons that morning with set-up, we will be meeting on the
front lawn at 8:30a.m. We would be very appreciative of some extra helping hands both before
and after the picnic.
*Please note that the start time of our worship service is different on Picnic Sunday from our
regular summer services. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll just move the picnic inside.

Announcements:
Dinner Basket Team - If you enjoy cooking and you'd like to be on the Dinner Basket team led by the Deacons, we'd love your help. You don't have to be a fancy cook to be a helper. We mostly deliver soups and "comfort foods". Main dish recipes that also freeze well are extra helpful for the
families. Making food for someone is a great way to show them that you care. It also helps to make their lives a little bit easier while they're going through something. So if you'd like to be a part of our team, please drop Janet an email at battenhouse@comcast.net.
Nursery Parents- It is our goal to staff our nursery every Sunday for the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service. However, when this is not possible, please be aware that our nursery room will be open during this time. If your child is having difficulty in service, you are welcome to go with your child to the nursery. The room is equipped for you to be able to hear the service while you are with them. The Nursery is also open during our 8:00 a.m.
Cool Whip Containers- The Presbyterian Women will be collecting Cool Whip containers with lids again. Our supply is very low. Thank you!
Worship Helpers - Just say “Good Morning,” hand out bulletins, pass collection plates and count how many folks are here. Please call the office and let us know when you can help. Please write a note on the Fellowship Pad if you are willing to help.

- Intergenerational Simple Supper: Third Sunday of each month. 5:00pm in Fellowship Hall

The Web Craft Group - Bring your current project and enjoy fellowship while working on it. Don't know how to do these crafts and would like to learn how? Elizabeth Kuhns is willing to teach you! If you have questions about the group, contact Lyz at media.lgpc@gmail.com.
Simple Supper - Donations will be accepted to cover the cost of food. RSVP by the Thursday before on the website under the Family Ministry tab or by emailing familymin@levelgreenchurch.org. You can register month by month as many times as you need. We hope this can be a time of intergenerational fellowship as we break bread together!
Kingdom Kids - Kingdom Kida is our Elementary Bible Club. Kids will learn about the Bible and memorize scriptures through fun games, songs, and crafts in a safe environment. All out volunteers and staff have their clearances.
Spring Semester, February 5 - May 7 except Maundy Thursday
Adult Bible Study - Adult Bible Study will now be offered both Wednesday mornings at 10am and Thursday evenings at 7pm. We'll be working through the book.
