MONTHLY CELEBRATION HOUR

NEXT DATE: December 21

Events, Projects, and More:

Fall Sermon Series - Fall Sermon Series on The Nicene Creed: In A.D. 325 the Council of Nicaea was convened by Roman Emperor Constantine to produce a confession of the Christian faith. This year we celebrate the 1700 th anniversary of this historic meeting and the creed that eventually developed from it. This fall we will look at the Church’s most ecumenical creedal statement during our worship Sunday
mornings. May it bring us a deeper understanding of how we live in relationship to God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Play It Forward Toy Drive - Level Green Church will serve as a collection site again this year for the Play it Forward Toy Drive. It’s a gently used children's toy drive. Donate your gently used or new toys, games, electronics, sports equipment, bikes and DVD movies. We will NOT be collecting books or stuffed animals this year. Donations are being stored in Room 201. Items will be collected through Friday, December 5.

Thanksgiving Dinner - The Penn-Trafford Ministerium invites you to join them for a Community Thanksgiving Dinner followed by a time of worship on Tuesday, November 25 starting at 6:00 PM at St. Barbara’s Roman Catholic Church (111 Raymaley Road Harrison City, PA 15636). Please bring a dessert to share.

Parents' Night Out -  Friday, December 12th 6-9 pm. Drop off your kids and go Christmas shopping. RSVP by Friday, December 5th.

Announcements:

Drink Cartons - Please bring your empty milk/juice cartons to the Church office to be used for delivering flowers. Thank you.

Dinner Basket Team - If you enjoy cooking and you'd like to be on the Dinner Basket team led by the Deacons, we'd love your help.   You don't have to be a fancy cook to be a helper.  We mostly deliver soups and "comfort foods".  Main dish recipes that also freeze well are extra helpful for the
families.  Making food for someone is a great way to show them that you care.  It also helps to make their lives a little bit easier while they're going through something.  So if you'd like to be a part of our team, please drop Janet an email at battenhouse@comcast.net.

Nursery Parents-  It is our goal to staff our nursery every Sunday for the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service. However, when this is not possible, please be aware that our nursery room will be open during this time. If your child is having difficulty in service, you are welcome to go with your child to the nursery. The room is equipped for you to be able to hear the service while you are with them. The Nursery is also open during our 8:00 a.m.

Cool Whip Containers-  The Presbyterian Women will be collecting Cool Whip containers with lids again. Our supply is very low. Thank you!

Worship Helpers - Just say “Good Morning,” hand out bulletins, pass collection plates and count how many folks are here. Please call the office and let us know when you can help. Please write a note on the Fellowship Pad if you are willing to help.
Please consider giving it a try…
