Annual Ice Cream Sunday
The church invites the community to join them for a free ice cream sundae buffet on the front lawn. Following our outdoor worship. The theme for Ice Cream Sunday is “Caring for the Kids in Our Community”. The fun morning is not only a celebration of ice cream but also tries to highlight and bring awareness to those in our community who work every day helping kids.
Local first responders and therapy dog teams will be there to visit. There will also be
face painting and crafts for the kids. Everyone attending is encouraged to bring a new teddy bear with them. The teddy bears will be given to the Blackburn Center and to the first responders to use to comfort kids during traumatic situations.
LGPC affirms these fundamental beliefs: We believe....the Bible is the Word of God, in one God, in Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit, salvation is through Christ alone, the true Church is composed of all persons, the Lord Jesus Christ commands all believers to proclaim the Gospel and Jesus calls each believer to a life of service and self-giving love.
