The Deacons have been providing Dinner Baskets to new parents, people who have experienced a recent loss of a loved one, or others who are ill or in need of help in some way. If you would be willing to help provide a main dish, salad, or dessert for the basket during the month of NOVEMBER PLEASE CALL SALLY LINDBLOOM
THANKSGIVING FOOD BASKETS
The Deacons will soon be delivering Thanksgiving Food Baskets to our church & community friends. We could use your help in filling those baskets. Everyone is welcome to bring whichever foods from our list that they would like to donate. Those bringing in food are asked to place it in the collection boxes at the entrances to the sanctuary and outside the office. Monetary gifts or grocery store gift cards would be appreciated for the purchase of the turkeys and extra groceries. Food will be collected through Friday, November 21ST.
Please give the names of any families you think could benefit from a basket to Rev. Rach or to the church office. Any extra collected food will be given to the Trafford Food Bank. Thanks for your help. Below is a list of food that is requested:
Can Sweet Potatoes
Can Cranberry Sauce
Can Evaporated Milk
Fruit Juice (Not Fresh or Frozen)
Pie Crust Mix
This year’s potluck is cancelled. It will return in November 2021. Wishing you and your family a Thanksgiving with many blessings!
HANGING OF THE GREENS!
The worship committee and the Deacons are inviting the congregation to help decorate our church for Christmas. On Sunday, November 22, immediately following the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Thanks to some of our musical friends, Christmas carols will be filling our church as we decorate. We also want everyone to enjoy participating. More details as the date gets closer! It’s fun – please plan on joining us!
