CLOSED FOR THE SUMMER - SEE YOU IN THE FALL! THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Dear Level Green Church Family,
It is a new start for both you and for me!!! For me it is a completely new church with completely new schedules and completely new people. For you it is a completely new pastor with a completely new voice, completely new way of leading worship and completely new ways of doing ministry! But I assure you that I will do the best that I can in the weeks and in the months ahead. I could not be more excited about the opportunity to be your Interim Pastor! Thank you for this privilege!
So here are some basics that I would like to share with you.
MY OFFICE SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK:
Monday: the church office is closed - this is my Sabbath Day of Rest
Tuesday: In the Office 9:00am – 1:00pm (visiting in the afternoon)
Wednesday: In the Office 9:00am – 1:00pm (visiting in the afternoon)
Thursday: In the Office 9:00am -1:00pm (visiting in the afternoon)
Friday: will be my day off – (time to work on the “honey do list” or to go fishing)
Saturday: Prepare Sermon
Sunday: Lead Worship, Attend Meetings, Hospital visits, etc.
The 9:00am to 1:00pm time slot on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays is the best time to reach me by phone or in person. Please feel free to drop by during those times. My door is always open and I would love to get to know you better!
(Note: There will be MANY days when I will be in the office all day but if you come looking for me after 1:00pm, I may not be here.)
One other item that I want to alert you to is that each Tuesday you will be receiving “A Tuesday Thought” from me via email. It will be a devotional thought, a thought that I have on a passage of scripture, or a thought that I have about something happening in the life of the church. Sometimes it will be a funny thought that made me smile but it will always be……”Just A Thought”. I hope that you enjoy them, look forward to them and maybe even pass them along to friends and family.
And finally, please join us for worship as we celebratethe holy season of Advent.
